Here in Stevens County, a vast array of agricultural products are produced on farms, ranches, and orchards of all sizes.
As consumers we also have multiple ways and places to buy locally produced food and other products.
- Many producers sell directly to customers.
- Several farmers markets sprout up each spring and last into the fall.
- A number of local retail stores, restaurants, and an online farmers market sell and serve local products year-round.
Each spring Community Ag publishes a Farm to Table Buying Guide listing local farmers who sell their products locally.directly to consumers. You will find vegetables, fruits, poultry and livestock products, flour, honey and other fresh and processed products. The Buying Guide also lists area farmers markets and local businesses that feature local food products.
The current Buying Guide includes more than 40 farms, several farmers markets, and a number of area businesses that make local products available.
The Farm to Table Buying Guide is updated annually and is usually available in June. It can be found at area Chamber of Commerce offices, the WSU Stevens County Extension office in Colville, all branches of the Stevens County Rural Library District, Lovitt Restaurant in Colville, Meyers Falls Market in Kettle Falls, and various other locations in the area.
If you are unable to find a printed copy at these locations please email email@example.com with your mailing address.
For your convenience, the content of the Farm to Table Buying Guide is also available here on our website.
If you are a local farmer/rancher or a business that features locally grown products, we encourage you to purchase a listing in the next buying guide. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to be notified before the next year’s edition goes to press.
